I started the web comic Desert Shadow in the summer after my sophomore year of high school. As a student, I've kept a tradition of keeping either a folder or sketchbook of artwork with me at all times.
What can I say? Classes are frequently not the most interesting thing in the world, and taking notes can get boring. I wanted to have my own nondisruptive fun in school.
Freshman year of high school, I started addictively re-doodling the same characters all over my class notes. By sophomore year, these characters grew personalities and wandered around the edges of my homework and quizzes making random remarks.
I started to sketch out a lot of random comic ideas through sophomore year, and by the spring semester, I knew I definitely wanted to start a web comic.
I made many websites before I started Desert Shadow, my first web comic. In particular, I had a long stream of Pokemon fansites that eventually became what is today, PokeDS.
My name is Tiffany, or Tiff for short, and I am from the United States. Around the internet, my most frequent screenname has been "shadowfiles."
I have a deviantART account that I post most of my important artwork on and an oekaki that welcomes all artists.
Other than drawing and making websites, my activities/hobbies include finding ways to prove that 42 is the meaning of life, creating Sparkledogs on certain online sites, and going to school.
