But yeah, to put things short, the little trick the ellipses and the collapsing and expanding excerpts was wayyy too annoying to refine to perfection for its worth. Curse you, browser compatability!
Actually, a friend also remarked that having to click to expand articles was annoying anyways.
Man, Javascript sure is annoying sometimes; I'd prefer PHP anyday. You may notice on the news articles there are little ...'s you can press to expand the articles. Believe it or not, this simple little script feature took like 4 hours to fully finish.
All I can say is debugging is annoying, and Firefox 3.whatever appears to have some mysterious 'script stack space quota is exhausted' error that occurs when regexing longer strings. Seriously, I just gave up on trying to find a workaround to that, so the script may mess up for you Firefox guys.
Thus, I end my rant. Appreciate the news expansion and collapsion feature! Appreciate it! And do enjoy the comic too while you're at it. ;)
